Through this support, OHS works to maintain continuity of care and minimize disruption when an existing grant recipient can no longer continue operations. Interim Management oversees the day\u2011to\u2011day delivery of Head Start and Early Head Start services while keeping children, families, and staff at the center of every decision.<\/p>\n<p>This letter is to inform you that Community Development Institute Head Start (CDI HS) will begin providing Head Start services in <strong>Wilmington, Delaware<\/strong>\u00a0starting <strong>July 1, 2026<\/strong>. <strong>Wilmington Head Start, Incorporated<\/strong>\u00a0will conclude services on <strong>June 30 2026<\/strong>. Our team will step in to ensure that Head Start and\/or Early Head Start services continue with minimal interruption for your child(ren).<\/p>\n<p>Over the next few days, you may see CDI HS staff in your area as we begin preparing for program operations. Our work includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hiring staff<\/li>\n<li>Getting classrooms and buildings ready<\/li>\n<li>Setting up food and other essential services<\/li>\n<li>Completing insurance and operational requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our role is to temporarily provide Head Start and\/or Early Head Start services until the OHS completes its competitive grant award process and selects a permanent service provider for your community.
