Pay Rate: $14.32 to $15.35 hourly, depending on qualifications

Program Aide
Join the Head Start teaching team in a teacher assistant-type position in facilitating many classroom activities such as field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of the Head Start classroom and start a career track to becoming a Head Start Teacher. This position may also assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation.
As a minimum requirement, ideal Applicant should have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential. Applicant’s able to be enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate degree, baccalaureate degree, or a CDA credential program to be completed with two years of the time of hire will also be considered. Tuition assistance provided in most cases.
Schedule: Full-Time, 35 Hours per Week, Monday – Friday, Weeks 38 Weeks per Year
