Center Supervisor
We are looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Center Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Head Start centers and ensure that local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met. The responsibilities of the Supervisor include communicating with parents, the community, and supervision and monitoring of all Head Start staff working at the assigned center(s). As a minimum requirement, applicant must be able to meet the state requirement(s) for “site director”. Associate degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or other related education or human service degree with experience working with young children. One-year supervisory experience preferred. Some experience in financial management and budgeting preferred. Previous Head Start/Early Head Start experience preferred. Applicant must meet state licensing requirements for New York.
Schedule: Full-Time, 8am - 5pm, 5 days (40 hours per week, 42 weeks per year)
