Family Advocate
Pay Rate: $13.19 to $15.30 per hour depending on education

Family Advocate
We are seeking a Head Start Family Advocate who is passionate about achieving positive child and family outcomes through high-quality engagement in social services activities with families. Family Advocates build partnerships and facilitate access to community services for children and families enrolled in Head Start and Early Head Start. This position coordinates with other specialists in the content areas of education, health (medical, dental, nutrition, mental health), etc. to provide quality services to children and families and to support the goals of the family and the program. Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred, however, applicants able to obtain a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counselling, or related field within eighteen months of hire will also be considered. Tuition assistance provided in most cases.
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week, Monday – Friday, Weeks 52 Weeks per Year
