At Head Start, families and community members play an important role in helping children learn and grow. When parents get involved, children see that school and home are working together—and that builds confidence, pride, and lifelong success. Your time, talents, and participation show children that their education matters.

There are many ways to get involved, whether you have a little time or a lot:

How You Can Make a Difference

Every hour you volunteer or donate materials is given a dollar value and helps us meet federal requirements.

You can donate in many ways, such as:

Volunteering in classrooms or during events

Completing home activities with your child

Sharing skills or talents, like storytelling, art, or cultural traditions

Donating materials the program can safely use

Serving on committees like Policy Council or parent groups

These contributions help strengthen the program and demonstrate that our community is invested in keeping Head Start strong.
